Sunday April 27th – 12pm till 3pm

I have an exciting mini-retreat/workshop to announce!
Kundalini Yoga & Pranayama (Breathing techniques)
You are invited to a 3 hour workshop/mini retreat with me, to learn about the power of Kundalini life force energy, our chakras (energy centers within the body) and how we can incorporate pranayama (breathing techniques) into our yoga practise to reignite our inner fire and cultivate a burning passion for life.
We will practise enlightening Kundalini asanas & yoga movements, infusing breathwork to allow the higher energies to move in and through us, to clear and balance our chakras, and to bring the mind into stillness as we find inner peace and clarity of mind.
We will also chant an easy-to-follow mantra. The key element of mantra chanting is the repetition of a sound, a prayer or intention – which focuses the mind and is a powerful tool in manifestation.
You can expect:
✨ Intention setting and meditation to feel safe within your body.
✨ A welcoming ceremony of clearing out any negative energies using sage and sound vibrations.
✨ An eye-opening presentation about Kundalini energy, our chakras, and how the combination of yoga practise and breathing techniques can alter our mind and overall awareness of ourselves and the world.
✨ An easy-to-follow group mantra practise to direct and focus the mind, cultivating a sense of relaxation and deep peace.
✨ Ending with yoga Nidra, to bring your whole energy body into homeostasis, and to allow your consciousness to merge with higher frequencies, as you expand in your awareness.
All are welcome! Please note that spaces are limited to up to 12 participants, so you may want to book early to secure your space.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
What is Kundalini?
- Kundalini is transformative energy, often symbolized as a coiled serpent at the base of the spine.
- Normally dormant, but when awakened, it rises through the chakras, igniting transformation, healing, and heightened awareness.
- When awakened, it amplifies the flow of prana, expanding consciousness and leading to transformation.
- This energy brings clarity, vitality, and a profound connection to the self and the universe.
Prana – The Life Force
- Prana is the universal life energy that flows through all living things.
- It’s what animates us—present in the breath, the food we eat, the sun, the air.
- Flows through nadis (energy channels), especially ida, pingala, and sushumna.
Pranayama (breath control) helps increase and direct prana, cleansing the system and preparing it for higher states of consciousness.
Understanding the Chakras
- Chakras are energy centers that run from your root up to the crown
- Each chakra is linked to different aspects of our physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
- Balancing the chakras allows Kundalini energy to flow freely, awakening our potential.
How Mantras Are Linked to Kundalini & Prana
Mantras are sound vibrations that directly influence our energy (prana) and consciousness (kundalini).
They’re not just words—they’re energetic codes that tune and awaken different aspects of the subtle body.
1. Mantras Direct Prana
- Sound is energy. When we chant a mantra, we vibrate specific frequencies through the body.
- These vibrations move and guide prana, helping it flow where it’s needed—through the chakras, along the nadis, and toward deeper awareness.
- Chanting with intention and breath control helps focus prana and still the thinking mind.
2. Mantras Awaken Kundalini
- Certain mantras (called bija or seed mantras) are directly associated with specific chakras.
- When repeated, they stimulate and unlock these energy centers, creating a pathway for Kundalini to rise.
- The vibration of the mantra helps dissolve blockages and awaken dormant energy.
3. Mantra, Breath & Awareness = Power Trio
When you combine:
- Mantra (sound)
- Pranayama (breath)
- Dhyana (focused awareness)
…you activate a powerful inner alchemy.
This combo stills the mind, strengthens prana, and clears a path for Kundalini to rise with stability and grace.
I’ll be guiding you through some powerful practises incorporating kundalini kriyas (yoga poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), mantras (vocal chanting), and mudras (symbolic hand gestures)
Expect to feel energised, revitalised, liberated, empowered, renewed, with a new sense of purpose and passion for life.
